Darwin Brasserie at Sky Garden

High up in the sky, where there is only clouds and birds for company is Sky Garden the London’s highest public garden.

Sky Garden boasts an array of dining options and bars, including the Fenchurch restaurant and the Sky Pod bar but the crown jewel is Darwin, a vibrant all-day brasserie that is situated on Level 36, overlooking the Thames. Marvel at the most astonishing contrasting views in London, from a sweeping unobstructed view of London’s iconic skyline to the luscious greenery from the gardens below.

The menu is a showcase of the best of British, where seasonal and delicious ingredients take centre stage and the bar is always decorated with innovative cocktails. Start with a sweet yet sour Darwin’s Punch, made with Zacapa 23-year-old rum, Appleton Estate rum, pineapple and fresh lime juice and a pretty Goat’s Cheese and Pear Tart with red onion and toasted pecans. For the main course, opt for the tender Monkfish on the Bone with devilled mussels and confit fennel, accompanied by golden fries glazed in truffle and sprinkled with parmesan and a dish of Roasted Pumpkin with crisp sage and chestnut.

Yes, the views are enchanting and the cocktails are unforgettable but it’s the incredible food here that does the talking.
