9pm Dinner a Porta Via

Porta Via, located in Palm Desert, adds to the charm of El Paseo. The restaurant boasts an inviting aesthetic, blending contemporary elegance with a touch of Mediterranean warmth. Guests enjoy the unique opportunity to dine half-alfresco amidst fragrant rosemary planters.  

The menu is focused on taking the best seasonal and organic ingredients to create the best Californian cuisine. Start with the Tuna Tower, layers of sticky rice, cucumber, mango, avocado and ahi tuna creates a delicious reconstructed poké bowl. The Parmigiano Crusted Alaskan Halibut is not to be missed, served with grilled asparagus and beurre blanc. Finish the meal with a creamy pistachio ice cream.

9am Breakfast at Norma’s

Breakfast at Norma’s is set against a backdrop of The Parker’s whimsical aesthetics. The restaurant’s playful decor and brightly coloured open-air terrace creates a cheerful atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for the day. Celebrated for its diverse and joyous breakfast menu matching its surroundings, there is everything your heart desires, from decadent Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes to savoury Lobster and Truffle Omelets. 

11:30am Taking of the Waters at the Spa at Séc-he

This colossal 73,000 square-foot spa opened its doors in 2020 and is an oasis of serenity that seamlessly blends modern elegance with soothing desert tones. With 22 private mineral hotels spring baths, 15 treatment rooms, a cryotherapy chamber, two float pod suites, a fitness room, grounding room, menthol dry sauna, eucalyptus steam room, halotherapy salt caves and mineral pool with four jacuzzis, you will be spoilt for choice. 

The “Taking of the Waters” experience at the Spa at Sec-he Palm Springs is a rejuvenating ritual, designed to elevate the senses. Take advantage of the spa’s facilities and start by relaxing in the steam and sauna rooms before heading to your private mineral bath to open up your pores for your skin to really absorb the minerals. Immerse yourself in the tranquil mineral pool, to create a sensory journey that harmonises the body and mind.

2pm Lunch at Eight4Nine

Located in the fashionable Uptown Design District of Palm Springs, EIGHT4NINE Restaurant and Lounge offers the very best of American cuisine. The restaurant blends modern elegance with vibrant pops of colour and striking art installations, creating a chic and welcoming ambiance. 

Start with the Pear Salad, ripe Bartlett pear with treviso, frieze, shaft’s blue cheese, candied pecans and a drizzle of sunshine dressing. The Lobster Roll features fresh Maine Lobster in  betwen toasted Pullman brioche covered in tarragon aioli. The Coachella Lime Pie is the all American dessert, served with raspberry coulis, candied lime zest and fresh raspberries.

The Modern Tour with Michael Stern unveils Palm Springs’ architectural gems guided by an expert in mid-century modern design. You will be lead through iconic properties, including homes designed by architectural legends like Richard Neutra and Albert Frey. This tour is a must for enthusiasts eager to delve into Palm Springs’ architectural legacy. The highlight is the privileged access to private residences and the profound insights shared by Stern, offering an unparalleled understanding of the mid-century modern movement. 7pm Dinner at Mister Parker’s

The restaurant’s opulent aesthetics, illuminated by dim lighting, transports you to a bygone era of old Hollywood glamour, and sets the stage for a fine dining experience like no other. Delia’s warmth and expertise ensured we made the best choices from the epicurean menu.

The Himachi Crudo arrives with apple and jalapeño slaw, finger lime and mint aguachile. The Sea Bass is cooked to perfection with lemon beurre blanc, cauliflower and hazelnut couscous. For something a little richer, the Wild Mushroom Risotto is also worth mentioning, especially during truffle season. Finish the meal with the delectable Ricotta Cheesecake.
