Louis Vuitton Unveils Official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Trophy Trunk

As the road to the FIFA World Cup 2026™ reaches its most anticipated chapter, Louis Vuitton has revealed one of the tournament’s most symbolic creations: the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Trophy Trunk. Blending the House’s legendary craftsmanship with the world’s most celebrated sporting prize, the bespoke trunk is set to become one of the defining luxury moments of the competition.

Crafted in Louis Vuitton’s historic ateliers in Asnières-sur-Seine, just outside Paris, the Trophy Trunk has been designed to create, transport and present football’s most coveted trophy. It will make its first public appearance during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final, where it will be carried onto the pitch by Louis Vuitton Ambassadors alongside a FIFA legend, continuing a tradition that has captivated audiences since 2010.

A Trophy Trunk Crafted for Victory

True to the Maison’s heritage, the trunk is wrapped in Louis Vuitton’s instantly recognisable Monogram canvas and features two striking hand-painted gold “V” panels – symbolising both Victory and Vuitton. Gold-plated brass hardware, leather trim and the House’s signature lock pay tribute to the craftsmanship that has defined Louis Vuitton trunks since the nineteenth century, while the interior is lined in supple beige leather and finished with a Louis Vuitton x FIFA partnership plaque.

The unveiling marks another milestone in the House’s long-standing relationship with global sport, where craftsmanship and sporting excellence continue to meet on the world’s biggest stages.

Louis Vuitton’s Continuing Legacy in World Sport

For more than a decade, Louis Vuitton has become synonymous with the world’s most prestigious sporting celebrations. From the FIFA World Cup and Formula 1 to the Olympic Games, the Maison has created bespoke Trophy Trunks that have transformed the presentation of victory into an event in itself.

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ Trophy Trunk continues that tradition, following previous editions created for South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014), Russia (2018) and Qatar (2022). It reinforces Louis Vuitton’s enduring philosophy that “Victory Travels in Louis Vuitton” — a statement that has become inseparable from many of sport’s most iconic moments.

A Limited-Edition Collection for Collectors

Alongside the Trophy Trunk, Louis Vuitton has also unveiled an exclusive limited-edition capsule inspired by the tournament. The collection includes three collectible trunks: the Coffret 8 Montres for eight timepieces, the Cotteville 16 Montres watch trunk and the Malle Courrier Lozine 110. Each features the iconic Monogram canvas alongside hand-painted FIFA World Cup detailing and Louis Vuitton’s signature golden “V”, with personalisation available through the House’s historic monogramming service.

While designed with collectors in mind, the collection also reflects Louis Vuitton’s enduring vision of travel, craftsmanship and legacy demonstrating that even the language of sport can be interpreted through the lens of luxury.

As football prepares to unite the world across Canada, Mexico and the United States for the largest FIFA World Cup™ in history, Louis Vuitton once again ensures that the journey to lifting the game’s greatest prize begins in unmistakable style.
