Heading to Ibiza this summer? Add this new restaurant residency to your dining hotlist as the island’s gastronomy takes off. Nela has launched at the luxury 7Pines Resort in Ibiza. Perched on the clifftops on the west side of the island, Nela’s location embodies effortless luxury from the outside in. The ocean-facing restaurant debuts a minimalist aesthetic, allowing the cuisine to shine.
The Amsterdam native restaurant has been crafted by esteemed chefs Hari Shetty, former Head Chef of Nobu Park Lane, London, well recognised for his culinary talent. Ori Geller, the formerly New York-trained chef specialising in high-end Mediterranean cuisine, alongside the successful British entrepreneur Gilad Hayeem. Last but by no means least, running the show on the ground, Executive Chef Óscar Salazar, you’ll be in great dining hands at Nela, Ibiza.
The menu embodies the Ibiza soil with fresh and fragrant dishes. Staples on the Nela menu include raw and cured meats and seafood, such as oysters with fermented chilli and smoked oil, and fresh summer tomato salad with harissa dressing. Signature dishes include flame-cooked Chilean seabass, dressed with extra virgin olive oil and sea salt; a melt-in-your-mouth yellowtail with black truffle and lemon sauce; and a half-lobster, with guajillo butter and mandarin.
What’s Ibiza dining without a stunning array of beverages? The drinks menu will be an extensive wine list with unique offerings from across the world, and a line-up of classic and innovative cocktails. Enjoy Nela’s fine seasonal cuisine this summer, with unrivalled sunset views, overlooking the Balearic Sea and the uninhabited island of Es Vedra.
With such success, Nela Ibiza will be extending its residency to London ‘s iconic Landmark, The Whitley, in autumn 2025 – marking its third residency. It seems like a global Nela restaurant takeover is underway.
