Nammos Does Sardinia: Barefoot Glamour & Mediterranean Feasting

There are beach clubs… and then there’s Nammos. The name alone conjures visions of sun-bleached Mykonos afternoons, magnums of rosé and seafood served with a side of superyacht. Now, that unmistakable spirit has drifted west to Sardinia’s Costa Smeralda, where Nammos has set up shop at the legendary Phi Beach for a summer fling that’s all about sea, sound and serious indulgence.

Tucked into the cliffs of Baja Sardinia, Phi Beach already has a reputation for being one of Europe’s most spectacular seaside hangouts – listed at number 37 on DJ Mag’s top 100 clubs for good reason. Now, with Nammos taking over the restaurant for the season, it’s officially the place to see and be seen this summer.

But this isn’t just a pretty face. The Nammos team have brought their signature food with them: a Mediterranean menu that’s sun-drenched, seafood-heavy and just fancy enough to justify another glass of Château d’Esclans. Think salmon teriyaki and spicy crab tartar, risotto saganaki for the table, and an aubergine mille-feuille that’s somehow both indulgent and light. It’s the kind of menu that encourages leisurely lunches that drift straight into sunset cocktails.

The setting? Open-air tables under those unmistakable teal umbrellas, with the sea glinting just beyond your grilled octopus and the soundtrack gently shifting from beachy to Balearic as the day slides into night.

And then there’s the music. This is Phi Beach, after all. Once the sun dips, the tempo lifts – with a summer lineup that’s nothing short of a mini-festival circuit. Expect Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, and Bob Sinclar spinning under the stars. Shoes optional. Vibes mandatory.

Getting there is part of the fun. Whether you roll up in a vintage convertible or dock your Riva just offshore, the welcome is warm, the atmosphere electric, and the people watching off the charts.

Running from 13 June to 31 August, this summer residency is more than just a meal or a night out – it’s a season-long love affair with Sardinia, seen through Nammos-tinted glasses. A little louder. A little glossier. A lot more fun.

If Mayfair is getting a permanent Nammos this autumn, Sardinia is where it’s learning to let its hair down.
