Autumn Confidential at The Ned

London’s favourite pleasure palace has turned up the charm this season. From sultry cabaret nights to Guinness-laced indulgence and a Bake Off worthy afternoon tea, The Ned’s autumn lineup is less “cosy night in” and more “cancel your plans and move in.”

The Guinness Bar Returns

Forget the pint glass. This year, Guinness arrives in style: cheddar croquettes with garlic mayo, caviar dusted crisps, and a salmon Scotch egg that deserves its own encore. Even the vegetarians get star treatment with hash browns and black truffle ketchup. Open Tuesday to Saturday till late, the vibe is lively, walk in, and just the right amount of mischief.

New Music Mondays at Nickel Bar

Monday nights are getting a melody makeover. Every week until 24 November, Nickel Bar transforms into a live music den curated by Jodie Bryant, formerly of BBC Radio 1. Expect three rising acts, Yamaha approved sound, and £11 cocktails to keep spirits high. Think less office blues, more after dark discovery.

The Parlour Reawakens

Behind its velvet curtains, The Parlour is back with a dinner and show experience that leans all the way into vintage glamour. Chef Lee Kebble serves up caviar, chicken Kiev, and steak au poivre before the lights dim for jazz, soul, or the legendary Black Cat cabaret. For £80, you get dinner and (if you’re lucky) access to The Vault, London’s most decadent afterparty in a former bank vault.

Old Fashioned Month at The Library Bar

From 25 October to 26 November, The Library Bar opens to the public for the first time since 2017. Head of Bars George Simmons has crafted a four serve menu inspired by fashion eras and Woodford Reserve’s bourbon legacy. It is intimate, elegant, and entirely walk in. You’ll want to stay a while.

Talm at The Ned Spa

Not all indulgence involves cocktails. French brand Talm brings its 100 percent organic prenatal and postnatal treatments to The Ned Spa, offering restorative rituals for new and expectant mothers, priced from £180. Day passes double as thoughtful gifts, and their vegan products line the spa shelves like little amber treasures.

Millie’s Bake Off Afternoon Tea

A showstopper in every sense. Created by pastry chefs Darian and Yadira, winners of Bake Off The Professionals 2025, this tea is a sweet symphony of Yamanashi peach roulade, passionfruit delice, and a Black Forest tartlet that might just ruin all other desserts. Served daily until 24 November at £60 (£70 with bubbles), it’s proof that sugar, not spice, rules autumn.

The Verdict

The Ned doesn’t just do seasons, it stages them. Whether you’re sipping an Old Fashioned beneath marble arches or listening to live jazz behind the club’s velvet rope, autumn here feels like a secret worth sharing.
