With an illustrious clientele that includes icons such as Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, Adele, and Lady Gaga, Gupta continues to push the boundaries of creativity.
Today, he marks yet another milestone: a captivating partnership with the world-renowned luxury whisky house, Chivas Regal. Together, they merge the worlds of art, fashion, innovation, and exceptional whisky into a singular, unforgettable celebration of Diwali.
“I absolutely love the collaboration,” Gaurav shares, his excitement unmistakable. “It feels so natural and beautiful. Chivas called and said, ‘We want to work with someone who embodies creativity and is a global icon from the East.’ I thought—Wow. I’m so honoured. We’ve been crafting this for two years—and now, it all comes to life.”
This visionary alliance introduces two limited-edition bottle designs for Chivas Regal XV and Chivas Regal 12, just in time for Diwali, The Festival of Light, and the upcoming festive season.
The Chivas Regal XV edition arrives in an opulent, gold-toned presentation box adorned with indigenous Indian motifs—an ode to the richness and grandeur of India and Diwali. In contrast, the Chivas Regal 12 edition features a striking silver monochrome finish, capturing a more contemporary essence while staying rooted in timeless symbolism.
At the heart of the designs are fantastical emblems drawn from Gupta’s imaginative universe:
- Winged Panthers, inspired by his childhood dreams of flight, symbolising freedom and fearless ambition;
- The Infinity Serpent, endlessly looping to represent rebirth, regeneration, and infinite possibility;
- And the Third Eye Sun, evoking illumination, clarity, and spiritual awakening—a motif deeply rooted in Indian mythology and central to Gaurav’s creative philosophy.
“We’re not just designing bottles—we’re creating new mythology,” Gupta reflects. “Creatures and symbols that exist in their own world. This is where fashion becomes storytelling, and whisky becomes art.”
