Pulse Laser Aesthetic Clinic Bio-Boost Laser Treatment Review

It’s not often you can finish your favourite barre class and pop next door to Pulse Laser Aesthetic Clinic, a leading provider of skin health and aesthetic treatments in London for a laser session. Fans of Psycle will know exactly the convenience I’m talking about.

If, like me, you often find yourself umming and ahhing over which laser to choose, I want to tackle ageing, but I still have lingering acne marks, redness and a little sun damage – it’s rare to find a single treatment that targets all of those concerns at once. Enter the Harmony Bio-Boost: a non-ablative treatment, which launched in the clinic earlier this summer and has been delivering seriously impressive results for clients from the get-go.

The welcome is everything you could ask for in the run-up to Christmas, tastefully decorated and creating a cosy atmosphere, and a huge plate of bitesize mince pies in the waiting area to graze on, it is the season after all.

What’s different about Pulse Laser Clinic is they keep client safety at the utmost, and you must come in for a patch test and skin consultation beforehand before undertaking any laser treatments and understanding your skin goals. The client detail questionnaire is quite hefty, so be sure to arrive a little bit beforehand to fill in all your details, and a customised treatment plan will be developed. The treatment is entirely personalised, tailored to your skin needs, which we all know can change monthly due to hormones and the seasons in the UK. In my case, my therapist opted for the Harmony Bio-Boost skin rejuvenation combination of two lasers: ClearLift and ClearVein.

Pulse Laser clinic reception

ClearVein: a non-invasive laser that dramatically reduces the appearance of vascular spider veins and rosacea by targeting the blood vessels, results can be seen the moment the area is targeted.

ClearLift: a non-ablative fractional laser treatment that gets to work on reversing the signs of ageing by combating fine lines, wrinkles and sagging skin, thanks to collagen production that improves skin elasticity.

Both with absolutely zero downtime and advanced cooling technology, so you don’t get any of that burning sensation.

Maria Dinopoulos, clinic director, explains her love of combining two lasers: “The Harmony Bio-Boost treatment is designed to be versatile and adaptable to each client’s unique needs. Whether someone is dealing with acne scars or signs of ageing, this treatment can be tailored to achieve optimal results.”

I cannot express how quick (lunch-break style speed) and pain-free this was after being a serial tester of the latest treatments, polynucleotides being top of the pain list. Plus, the bonus…you don’t come out looking like a beetroot afterwards – always gets my vote.

Avoiding any sun for the next few days post-treatment is key, and avoid active ingredients or retinoids for a few days, back to basics skincare.

You have to be patient with this one; long-term benefits can take a few weeks to show as collagen production increases, although the thread veins around my nose area were erased almost immediately. Roll on four weeks post-treatment and I can safely say my skin is noticeably smoother, clearer, redness has calmed, and my skin is looking plumper and that’s just after one treatment. Excited to see what a course of treatments could look like.
