As London slips into its winter reverie, the city begins to shimmer fairy lights stretching across Georgian terraces, wreaths adorning townhouse doors, and the unmistakable comfort of the annual Harry Potter rewatch settling in. It is within this quietly magical moment that Warner Bros. Studio Tour London unveils the return of one of its most beloved seasonal features: Magical Mischief, running from 24 January to 27 April.

A celebration of playful rebellion, the feature once again pays homage to the Weasley twins and their talent for orchestrating cinematic chaos. Guests are welcomed into the Great Hall, where Fred and George’s dramatic exit from Hogwarts unfurls in a burst of fireworks a scene rendered with such detail that it feels almost newly alive.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2026, the Tour invites visitors to explore the artistry behind two of the film’s most iconic moments: the cascade of Hogwarts acceptance letters that once fluttered across living rooms worldwide, and the subtly ingenious techniques used to bring Harry’s Invisibility Cloak to the screen. Nearby, Aunt Petunia’s levitating cake offers a glimpse into the elegant trickery behind early visual effects.
The journey continues with the pandemonium of Chamber of Secrets: Neville Longbottom suspended mid-air by a swarm of Cornish Pixies during Lockhart’s infamous Defence Against the Dark Arts class. Throughout the Tour, fans are encouraged to seek out hidden pixies with a bespoke activity passport a quiet nod to the joy of discovery that underpins the entire experience.
Mischief After Dark; A New Chapter for 2026
The 2026 season also introduces a new, more intimate offering: Magical Mischief After Dark, an evening event designed for those seeking something a little unexpected over Valentine’s weekend. Taking place on 13 and 14 February, the experience offers after-hours access to the Tour, where the sets feel richer, the lights softer, and the magic subtly heightened.

Guests are invited to wander through interactive filmmaking stations, view original props including Lavender Brown’s cupid bow pendant and enjoy colour-changing cocktails crafted especially for the event. With curated photo moments and an exclusive take-home keepsake, After Dark feels less like a tour and more like an invitation into the quieter corners of the wizarding world.
Tickets for Magical Mischief After Dark will be available from Tuesday 2 December at 10am at wbstudiotour.co.uk.
