Riva has celebrated the launch of the 20th hull of the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super at its La Spezia shipyard, with the yacht delivered to none other than Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque racing driver, who already owns a Riva 82’ Diva, has once again returned to the iconic Italian shipyard for his latest yacht, reaffirming his long-standing affinity with the brand’s unmistakable blend of craftsmanship, elegance and performance.
The launch ceremony took place on May 7 at Riva’s La Spezia production facility, the home of the brand’s 76 to 130-foot yachts. Held in an intimate atmosphere alongside the shipyard team who brought the project to life, the occasion marked another milestone for one of Riva’s most celebrated contemporary models. An evolution of the much-loved 100’ Corsaro, the 102’ Corsaro Super combines sleek sporting lines with the timeless sophistication synonymous with the storied Italian marque.
“Charles’s passion for Riva, which is of course reciprocal, is a testament to quality and beauty that we welcome with boundless joy,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “If such a formidable driver and icon of style and elegance chooses once again one of our boats, it means that Riva, and in this case the magnificent 102’ Corsaro Super, offers unrivalled standards of beauty, liveability and technology.”

Designed by Officina Italiana Design – the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta – in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and the Strategic Product Committee chaired by Piero Ferrari, the yacht is characterised by expansive glazing, fluid indoor-outdoor living and a silhouette that appears to skim effortlessly across the water.
Leclerc’s personal influence can be felt throughout the yacht. Exterior spaces feature furnishings by Minotti paired with Jim Thompson cushions, while the flybridge has been transformed into an open-air entertaining space complete with a custom bar, oversized grill, induction hob, refrigerators and an ice maker. A generous beach club aft extends the connection to the sea even further, offering over 35 square metres of waterside living alongside an inflatable platform for water toys and a customised hauling ramp.
Inside, the yacht continues the contemporary aesthetic with interiors furnished by Poliform and bespoke details selected personally by Leclerc, including custom door handles. Bang & Olufsen audio-visual systems elevate both the main salon and master suite, while the owner’s bathroom becomes a focal point through the use of luminous Calacatta Vagli Oro marble. Elsewhere, Corian Calacatta Greige surfaces create cohesion throughout the yacht’s refined palette. Luxurious touches continue with Frette linens, towels and bedding across the cabins, complemented by Christofle tableware in the dining and social spaces.
Powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines delivering 2,638 horsepower each, the Riva 102’ Corsaro Super reaches a top speed of 28 knots and cruises comfortably at 24 knots. Advanced stabilisation systems, including Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilisers and Sleipner Vector Fins, ensure exceptional comfort both underway and at anchor – an essential quality for a yacht designed as much for effortless Mediterranean living as for performance.
