From indulgent Sunday roasts and summer-inspired afternoon teas to viral cheese picnics, Wimbledon-themed smoothies and the latest wellness workouts, we’ve rounded up the best new openings, menus, experiences and limited-edition collections to enjoy in London this July. Whether you’re looking for a new brunch spot, planning a weekend in the capital or simply seeking inspiration for the summer ahead, these are the places, products and experiences worth adding to your summer agenda.

A New Saturday Brunch Has Arrived at Shanghai Me
Shanghai Me lovers rejoice! Not only is this one of our favourite spots in London for Asian food (read all about our last visit here), but it also boasts some of the best panoramic views in the capital, looking out towards Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. It’s a restaurant that really comes alive in the summer months and last month introduced its first-ever Maneki Saturday Brunch.
For £60 per person, expect the best of Shanghai Me’s signature Chinese and Japanese flavours. Whilst making your choice from the main menu, it would be rude not to graze on freshly steamed edamame beans sprinkled with sea salt, followed by an array of canapé-style bites including wagyu and lobster corn shells, steamed dim sum, prawn toast generously filled with meaty prawns, crispy duck salad shredded tableside and, wait for it, a beautifully presented makizushi platter.
And for the main event, choose one dish from the selection of mains. We opted for the grilled spicy miso chicken and shrimps in chilli sauce, both packed with flavour. There are vegan options available too, while the beef tenderloin looked equally tempting. Sides are included, with Shanghai Me’s delicious egg fried rice and tenderstem broccoli accompanying your meal.
The dessert spread is a real showstopper and one you’ll definitely want to capture on camera as the waiter brings everything to the table. The flavours and textures are wonderfully unique, complete with edible rice paper fortune cookie-style messages.
Might we mention you can complement your Maneki Brunch experience with one of three beverage packages? The Detox Package includes 90 minutes of non-alcoholic mocktails, sparkling tea and soft drinks for £19 per person. The Wine Package includes a cocktail or beer, plus half a bottle of wine per person for £29, while those leaning towards a more champagne-fuelled brunch can upgrade to the Champagne Package for £49 per person.
Excellent value if we do say so ourselves – the array of quality food you get, teamed with optional drinks packages and those wow-worthy views, makes this one of London’s most exciting new brunches.

The Viral Cheese Picnic from Grape & Fig Taking Over Regent Street
The viral cheese bar that’s been popping up all over social media is certainly worth the hype. When Grape & Fig first opened its doors, queues stretched along Regent Street as Londoners scrambled to get a slice of the action. And with picnic season in full swing, there’s nowhere we’d rather indulge than with one of their beautifully curated cheese boxes.
Think pick ‘n’ mix, but for cheese. Situated inside Brityard on Regent Street, Grape & Fig allows you to build your very own cheese box, flying the flag high for British cheeses and premium charcuterie from Rare & Pasture.
First, choose your size: Mini for solo grazing, Small for one to two people or sharing box for groups of two to five. Next, decide whether you’d like cheese only or a combination of cheese and meat, before selecting condiments such as wholegrain mustard, onion relish or honeycomb. The team then works their magic, filling your box with nuts, fruit, pickles and olives to create your dream grazing board.
The clever details don’t stop there. Each cheese box comes complete with a fold-out picnic carrier that doubles as a perch or placemat, making alfresco dining even easier. Be sure to pick up one of the brand’s parks and gardens maps too, highlighting the best nearby spots to enjoy your cheese feast, complete with walking distances from Grape & Fig.

Townhouse Brings Its Signature Manicures to Broadgate Central
Nail specialist Townhouse has just opened the doors to its shiny new salon in Broadgate Central. Just three minutes from Liverpool Street Station and moments from Spitalfields, Shoreditch and Broadgate, it’s the perfect place to book a holiday pedicure or clean manicure before your next summer getaway.
Like all Townhouse locations across the UK, Los Angeles and New York, the design is chic, minimalist and paired-back, while the brand’s meticulous approach to nail hygiene and cuticle care remains at the heart of the experience. Sit back with a Grind iced coffee in hand and let the team work their magic.
If you’re after subtle nail art, we highly recommend the new Postcards from Paradise SS26 collection. Inspired by sunshine escapes across the Mediterranean, the collection features destination-inspired designs and sun-washed colours that will have you booking that summer getaway pronto. The limoncello tile-inspired design gets our vote for the ultimate summer mani even if you are staying closer to home.
Top tip: don’t leave without stocking up on their heavenly coconut-scented cuticle oil for softer, healthier-looking nails.

Social Season Afternoon Tea at Sheraton Grand Park Lane
It wouldn’t be a true British summer without enjoying an afternoon tea or two, and the British Social Season Afternoon Tea at Sheraton Grand Park Lane certainly gets our vote. We’ve raved about the hotel’s afternoon tea before, and this seasonal offering is every bit as impressive. Served in the beautiful Art Deco Palm Court beneath its grand ceiling, it’s one of London’s most elegant settings for a leisurely afternoon.
There are plenty of thoughtful touches throughout, from the branded Palm Court cotton muslin bag used to keep the scones warm to the live pianist providing the soundtrack as you sip and savour. But really, it’s the sweet pastries that you’ll find yourself gravitating towards.
Seasonal highlights include a Wimbledon-inspired Strawberry & Pimm’s Macaron, a Peach & Rhubarb Mousse Encloser celebrating Royal Ascot, a Blueberry & Lemon Battenberg inspired by Henley Royal Regatta and a rich Chocolate, Coffee & Caramel Choux paying tribute to The Proms.
Whether you have tickets for Centre Court or simply fancy embracing the British summer season in quintessential style, nothing quite compares to that first sip of chilled champagne and that first bite of a perfectly prepared finger sandwich whilst listening to live music in the Palm Court.
Priced at £59 per person and available daily from 12pm–6pm until 31 August 2026.

Kapten & Son’s New Ibiza Collection Is Made for Summer Travel
Two of our favourite things have collided: the sunshine island of Ibiza and German accessories brand Kapten & Son. The result? A limited-edition capsule collection inspired by the carefree spirit, natural beauty and effortless style of the Mediterranean island.
Available online and in Kapten & Son’s Covent Garden store on Neal Street, we predict this collection will be a sell-out, especially with prices starting from just £64.90.
The collection features a range of the brand’s bestselling styles in a fresh sandstone colourway inspired by the carefree spirit and natural beauty of Ibiza. Premium cotton and linen fabrics add to the laid-back Mediterranean feel, making it a natural fit for summer adventures, city breaks and everyday wear.
It’s time to store away the darker colourways for winter and bring a fresh summer aesthetic into the mix. Whether you’re looking to switch up your everyday bag or invest in a stylish travel companion, this collection is made for sunshine-filled adventures.
Highlights from the range include the Bergen Pro backpack, roomy enough for a laptop and complete with a clever anti-theft pocket on the back, alongside padded straps and a cushioned back panel that make it comfortable to wear all day. The Skara Small, as pictured, is another favourite – a hands-free style that’s ideal for festival season and exploring new cities.
Whether you’re planning an Ibiza escape or simply want to bring a little Mediterranean-inspired style into your everyday wardrobe, this collection is well worth adding to your wish list.

20 Years On, Hawksmoor Still Serves One of London’s Best Roasts
Last month, Hawksmoor celebrated 20 years since opening its first restaurant in Spitalfields back in 2006. Fast forward two decades and the group now boasts 14 restaurants across the UK and Ireland, plus two in the United States. Along the way, they’ve built a loyal following thanks to their unwavering focus on quality British beef, excellent cocktails and some of the most talked-about comfort food in the country.
The famous Sunday roast remains one of its biggest crowd-pleasers. There’s something quite satisfying about a visit to the Borough branch on a summer Sunday, tucked away inside a converted trading warehouse. It feels quintessentially British and is exactly the sort of lunch that reminds you why the Sunday roast remains a national institution.
This is a Sunday roast the Hawksmoor way. The secret lies in how the beef is cooked over real charcoal to develop that signature smoky crust, but it doesn’t end there. The slicing is just as important, with only thick-cut slices making it onto a Hawksmoor plate. Opt for the dry-aged rump or sirloin, while vegetarians can tuck into the excellent Winslade Wellington.
The sides are just as impressive. Expect oozy cauliflower cheese, Hawksmoor stuffing, beef-dripping roast potatoes, towering Yorkshire puddings, roasted carrots, buttered greens, roasted garlic and generous lashings of rich bone marrow and onion gravy.
Wash it all down with a good bottle of red. Hawksmoor’s wine list is extensive, with options for every budget, from accessible bottles to some seriously impressive vintages if you’re feeling particularly boujee.
And whatever you do, save room for dessert. Trust us, you’ll feel completely full after the roast, but leave it a little time and you’ll thank us later. The sticky toffee pudding is a death-row dessert order if ever we’ve had one, closely followed by the famous salted caramel Rolos.

Meet the Megaformer at Psycle London Bridge
Opened earlier this year, Psycle’s seventh London studio is located just a short walk from London Bridge station. Not only does the sleek new space offer the brand’s signature Ride classes, it’s also the only Psycle studio to offer Lagree Megaformer workouts.
Think of it as reformer Pilates with an added strength-training boost. The Megaformer machines are larger and wider than a traditional reformer, with front and back platforms, additional springs, extra straps and more resistance options designed to challenge the entire body.
The workout itself is high-intensity but low-impact, performed through slow, controlled movements that keep your muscles under constant tension. Expect a full-body workout that combines strength, core and cardio training in one challenging session.
If you’re new to Lagree, make sure you arrive a little earlier for the introductory briefing. The Megaformer beds are slightly more hands-on than a traditional reformer, and it helps to familiarise yourself with the machine before class begins.
This is a strength class where slower really is better. Every movement is designed to tone, sculpt and challenge your muscles, often leaving them shaking in the process. As with all Psycle classes, the lighting is low, the playlist is motivating and the atmosphere is energising. The slower you move, the more you’ll feel the burn.
With a strict no-phones policy, it’s 50 minutes of pure escapism surrounded by like-minded Londoners all chasing that deep muscle burn in the best possible way.

Lina Stores Launches a £20 Set Lunch Menu
There’s no denying Lina Stores is a little bit of an institution in London. With its distinctive pistachio-green façade, it blends the charm of a traditional Italian trattoria with a contemporary London twist. Renowned for its authentic Italian produce and fresh pasta, it’s a restaurant that continues to draw loyal diners back time and time again.
Now there’s even more reason to visit thanks to its excellent-value set lunch menu, available weekdays from 12pm–5pm. Choose from three antipasti, three pasta dishes and three dolci, with two courses priced at £17 and three courses at just £20.
We highly recommend ordering a limoncello spritz while you browse the menu and grazing on the pillowy-soft sea salt & rosemary focaccia and Lina Stores’ famed green bella di cerignola olives – because when dining Italian, it would be rude not to.
The set menu may be small, but the choices will certainly get your taste buds going. We opted to start with the fried ricotta & herb gnudi paired with calabrian chilli marmellata, before moving on to the 30-egg yolk tagliolini with black truffle and parmigiano reggiano. If you’re a truffle obsessive like us, it’s a complete no-brainer and quite simply Italian perfection on a plate. The slow-cooked ragù is also a worthy contender.
You cannot leave Lina Stores without ordering their legendary tiramisu for dessert – we can almost guarantee the plate will be wiped clean. If you’re after something a little lighter, the refreshing blood orange sorbet and pistachio gelato are perfect for cooling down during a London heatwave.
Our top tip? Don’t forget to pick up one of the branded jute shoppers on your way out, along with a jar of homemade sauce and some fresh pasta to recreate a little Lina Stores magic at home.

Wimbledon Smoothies and Gooey Cookies at Morena Marylebone
There’s no denying London’s coffee scene is having a moment, but finding a spot that offers a little more than your average flat white is another question entirely. Enter Morena in Marylebone’s St Christopher’s Place. Think maple cloud lattes, tropical-inspired coconut iced americanos, fruity matcha creations and heatwave-approved pink lychee and rhubarb lemonade, all served in one of the prettiest café spaces around.
As if that wasn’t enough, Morena has become known for pairing its iced matcha drinks with freshly baked NYC-style cookies. Thick, chunky and gloriously gooey, flavours range from birthday cake to s’mores, which not only look the part for those social media moments but taste every bit as good too.
This month, Morena has launched a summer drinks menu featuring a Wimbledon Strawberry Set smoothie, alongside a strawberries and cream cookie and a Strawberries & Cream Matcha infused with homemade strawberry syrup. If you’re looking for a hydration stop between shopping or somewhere to refuel with the kids during the summer holidays, this should be firmly on your radar.
And if you’re left wanting more, be sure to check out Morena’s second home in the heart of Belgravia at Eccleston Yards, where you’ll find an all-day menu spanning brunch, dinner and cocktails.

Casamigos Takes Over Aqua Nueva’s Rooftop Terrace
Summer in London is all about sipping tequila-infused cocktails on a rooftop, and this summer Aqua Nueva has teamed up with Casamigos Tequila to transform its terrace into one of the hottest spots in the West End. Overlooking Regent Street, the terrace offers sweeping views across one of London’s most iconic shopping destinations, including a bird’s-eye view of the Apple Store below, all without the crowds. The vibe? Think rooftop bar meets Tulum beach club, complete with cabanas, relaxed outdoor seating, beach-inspired décor and summer photo opportunities galore.
The vibe? Think rooftop bar meets Tulum beach club. Expect cabanas, relaxed outdoor seating, beach-inspired décor and plenty of summer photo opportunities.
It certainly looks the part, but does it taste the part? We’ve sipped our way through much of the cocktail menu and can safely say these are worth ordering. The Frozen Mockingbird combines Casamigos Blanco, spicy jalapeño agave, watermelon and lime for a fruity serve with a gentle kick. The Siesta offers a fresh take on the classic Paloma, blending Casamigos Blanco with fresh grapefruit, Campari and lime, while the Cantaritos Andaluz mixes Casamigos Reposado with sweet vermouth, grapefruit soda and lime. Looking for something with a little more punch? The Barcelona Highball combines Casamigos Añejo, lemon, padrón pepper and ginger beer for a fiery yet surprisingly refreshing sipping experience.
With DJs spinning live on Friday and Saturday evenings, this is the place to see and be seen this summer.

Aqua Kyoto x Beluga Vodka Unveils a Yacht-Inspired Terrace Above Regent Street
Just next door to Aqua Nueva’s Casamigos terrace takeover, sister venue Aqua Kyoto has also undergone a summer rooftop transformation. In partnership with Beluga Vodka, the terrace has been reimagined with a yacht-inspired installation and striking views across vibrant Soho and Regent Street below.
Step inside and you’ll be transported to coastal shores, with deck-style panelling along the bar, branded liferings, vintage luggage trunks and tropical planting setting the scene. There’s also no shortage of photo opportunities, including a larger-than-life caviar tin-shaped chair – a playful nod to the brand’s famous caviar pairing.
The signature summer cocktail menu features a variety of Beluga Vodka-based serves, including the Kuro Pearl, a must-order for matcha fans, combining matcha, padrón pepper and yuzu. The Hinoki is another bestseller, blending Beluga Vodka with Chambord, raspberry, sage and lemon for a refreshing summer tipple.
Combine that with Aqua Kyoto’s fresh Japanese food offering – think mountains of fresh sushi and sashimi, noodles and more and you have yourself the perfect pre-work destination, post-shopping pitstop or summer evening hangout.
