If you’re prone to tearing up at weddings, you’ll know that even the best waterproof mascara won’t save you from black streaks down your face. Nor will it last the night. A hassle-free solution to long-lasting, gorgeous lashes (without the tear marks) this wedding season is a lash lift and tint treatment at Browhaus.
There are four Browhaus salons across London, and they also have bases around the world from Hong Kong to New York. Each salon has a unique style and we fell in love with the Holborn interiors the moment we entered the building, descending an electric blue staircase into a large circular
room with bright pink and yellow walls, vibrant furniture and a large Art-Deco style bar. It looks like the set from a Wes Anderson film.
We were invited along to try out their new lash menu which offers a range of treatments from Hybrid, Classic and Russian fake lashes to lifts, curls and tints.
For anyone that has never had them, fake lashes can range from a more subtle effect to full and dramatic effects and the results usually last around two weeks. But if you’re looking for something a little longer lasting or find having fake lashes irritating, then the Lash Curl and Tint is the treatment for you.
The effects of the treatment can last up to six weeks and starts with a perming solution being applied to your eyelashes. Next it is time to lie back on the comfortable beds, relax and listen to some music or a podcast (if you don’t drift off to sleep).

The friendly and extremely knowledgeable Noosh was my lash expert and talked me through each stage of the procedure as I’d never had it done before. There was no pain or discomfort throughout and it was actually a rather relaxing experience.
After the lashes are curled – which takes around 45 minutes – the dye for the tint is applied for just five minutes.
Noosh revealed my new lashes and I was so impressed. Much darker (and I already have black lashes) and curled, which made them look significantly longer and fuller – it really opens up your eyes. It is noticeable and really makes a difference in photos but subtle enough to look natural. It is the perfect look I was hoping for before a wedding and holiday I had.
Remember to give yourself time for a patch test a couple of days before you plan to have anything done (this is compulsory at Browhaus even if you’ve had the treatments done elsewhere).
Whatever treatment you choose, Browhaus has got your brows and lashes covered.
