London’s festive season gains a new North Star this year as CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty brings its first-ever illuminated installation to Covent Garden’s North Piazza a sculptural constellation of light, symbolism and unmistakable CHANEL allure. From 6–28 December 2025, the piazza transforms into an enchanted winter scene where heritage meets spectacle, and where Londoners and visitors are invited to step inside a moment of pure, luminous fantasy.
For over a decade, CHANEL’s flagship presence has been a quiet but defining part of Covent Garden’s luxury landscape. This year, the Maison celebrates that legacy by creating a 120sqm immersive environment that reimagines its iconic codes the lion, the wheat, the camellia, the comet, the pearls as shimmering celestial bodies suspended beneath a starry night sky. At its heart: an illuminated N°5 bottle, encased in a luminous helix, glowing like a beacon across the cobblestones.
Open daily from 11am to 11pm, the installation becomes a new seasonal ritual a place to wander, pause, and capture memories beneath the glow of CHANEL’s imagined cosmos. Guests can step inside the space (11am–7pm Monday to Saturday; 12pm–5:30pm on Sundays), with live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday afternoon creating a subtly cinematic atmosphere from 2pm onwards.
More than a festive photo backdrop, Winter Constellation feels like an offering an escape into Gabrielle Chanel’s universe of symbols, talismans and dreams, translated into sculptural light for the city. An ephemeral landmark, here just long enough to become a December memory.
