Summer never smelled so good.
For 25 years, Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue has been more than just a fragrance—it’s been a passport to the Mediterranean dream. With its citrusy brightness and sun-soaked sensuality, Light Blue became a global icon. Now, the legendary fragrance duo—Light Blue Eau de Toilette and Light Blue Pour Homme—is reborn for a new era, celebrating a quarter-century with an exciting campaign, fresh olfactory upgrades, and a philanthropic mission that brings purpose to its beauty.
A Modern Ode to Capri
Envisioned as a romantic escape to the sun-drenched shores of Capri, the new Light Blue campaign captures the essence of Italian summer through the lens of acclaimed director Gordon Von Steiner. Featuring supermodel Vittoria Cerettiand actor Theo James, the campaign is a masterclass in chemistry and nostalgia, unfolding in golden light with the iconic backdrop of the Faraglioni cliffs.
Set to the classic soundtrack Parlami d’Amore Mariù, the visuals blend timeless elegance with raw emotion. The story is not just about scent—it’s about a summer romance suspended in time, where all five senses awaken in a dreamlike dance of sea, sun, and citrus.
Two New Scents Join the Family
In celebration of this milestone, Dolce&Gabbana introduces two new permanent additions:
- Light Blue Capri In Love Eau de Parfum
- Light Blue Capri In Love Pour Homme Eau de Parfum
Both variations retain the Mediterranean heart of the originals but are layered with more intense and spicy notes, offering a deeper, longer-lasting experience. Reformulated by master perfumers Olivier Cresp and Alberto Morillas, the updated scents last up to 16 hours—perfect for those endless summer nights.
Refined Inside and Out
From scent to packaging, every detail has been elevated. The iconic frosted bottles now feature smooth, rounded edges and silver accents, topped with majolica-tile-inspired blue caps and crowned by the DG monogram. Velvet boxes house each bottle like a treasured keepsake—an embodiment of Italian craftsmanship and quiet luxury.
A Scent with a Cause
This year, Light Blue also carries a deeper purpose. In line with its celebration of the sea, Dolce&Gabbana has partnered with the Blue Marine Foundation, a UK-based charity championed by Theo James. With over 60 marine conservation projects in 27 countries, the foundation is at the forefront of protecting marine biodiversity and combating climate change.
By supporting this initiative, Dolce&Gabbana proves that beauty is not only skin deep—it’s about giving back to the natural world that inspires us.
