When Aman enters a new territory, the world stands up and pays attention. Aman is already redefining expectations through precision, restraint and a stellar commitment to space, privacy and beauty. With the launch of Amangati, its first ocean-going motor yacht, the brand extends its philosophy beyond land, bringing its unmistakable vision of modern luxury to the open sea.
From Spring 2027, Amangati will begin its inaugural Mediterranean season, offering a series of five- to eight-night voyages that trace some of Europe’s most iconic coastlines while slipping effortlessly into lesser-known harbours.

At 180 metres in length and spanning nine decks, Amangati is a study in scale without excess. Designed as a floating Aman retreat rather than a traditional ship, it accommodates just 94 guests across 47 expansive suites, each with a private terrace and uninterrupted sea views.
With suite sizes ranging from 68 to 354 square metres, the yacht offers a level of spatial generosity almost unheard of at sea. The effect is immediate: despite its size, Amangati feels remarkably intimate, as though it were a private superyacht shared by only a select few.

The design language is unmistakably Aman. Interiors draw on the quiet discipline of Japanese architecture, with clean lines, natural materials and a palette that favours warmth over ornament. Full-height windows flood spaces with light, while private terraces ensure a constant connection to the horizon.
Every detail is considered, from the proportions of the suites to the way public spaces flow seamlessly into one another, creating an atmosphere that feels calm, discreet and effortlessly sophisticated.

Wellness lies at the heart of life on board. Spanning more than 1,190 square metres across two decks, the Aman Spa is the largest in its category at sea. Eight ocean-facing treatment suites open onto private terraces with showers and open-air whirlpool baths, complemented by a hammam, banya and dedicated serenity zones.
A state-of-the-art Fitness Studio, Medi Spa, Medical Centre and Beauty Lounge complete the experience, while daily programmes of yoga and meditation allow guests to recalibrate at their own pace. Beyond the spa, the Selora Marina and Lounge offers direct access to the sea, with open-air pools, sun decks and curated water sports equipment designed for exploration without compromise.

Dining on Amangati reflects Aman’s philosophy of seasonality, provenance and culinary heritage. Across a collection of distinct venues, guests move effortlessly between Mediterranean cuisine at Alira, Japanese washoku and teppanyaki at Akari and Hiori, and the refined simplicity of Aman Grill.
In-suite dining is available at any hour, with menus drawn from all four restaurants, allowing guests to shape their days around personal rhythms rather than schedules. Evenings unfold across a range of settings, from the understated elegance of The Jazz Club to the relaxed intimacy of the Cinema and Youth Lounge, each designed to feel curated rather than crowded.

What truly distinguishes Amangati, however, is its approach to destination. The maiden season explores the Mediterranean through a lens of cultural significance and geographic nuance: the Roman heritage of the Dalmatian Coast, the Moorish architecture of Spain, the glamour of the French Riviera, and rarely accessed ports such as Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
Rather than racing between landmarks, itineraries are designed for immersion, with late departures, overnight stays and select voyages timed to coincide with defining cultural moments, including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.

Among the most striking experiences is a rare passage through Venice’s historic Grand Canal. As Amangati glides past San Marco Square at sunset, the city’s architecture becomes a cinematic backdrop before the yacht transitions quietly into open water.
Ashore, guests are invited into a world of curated cultural, artistic and historical encounters, complemented by bespoke concierge-led exploration. Seamless arrivals and departures are facilitated by two helipads and six tenders, while a dedicated Suite Host ensures intuitive, unobtrusive service throughout the journey. The result is an experience that feels both deeply personal and impeccably orchestrated.

Amangati represents a natural evolution of Aman’s vision: a sanctuary in motion, shaped by water and defined by space. It is not simply a yacht, but a new expression of the Aman lifestyle, one that combines the privacy of a private superyacht with the cultural richness of slow, intelligent travel.
As Aman continues to expand its universe, from its portfolio of serene resorts and residences to skincare, fragrance, fashion and the socially driven Janu brand, Amangati stands as one of its most ambitious and compelling creations to date. For travellers accustomed to the world’s finest hotels, it offers something rarer still: the feeling of having the Mediterranean entirely to yourself.
