Your beauty aesthetic feels very calm and consistent. What does good skin mean to you personally?
So for me, good skin is about feeling confident in my skin, feeling confident with and without makeup. I therefore keep my skincare regime very calm and consistent. When my skin feels good, I feel so much better so sticking to a routine is a must.
Your routine feels very intentional. Are there any skincare products you’ve genuinely repurchased over the years?
Yes, I’ve repurchased a number of products over the years. I am a massive fan of Korean skincare and have recently been loving Medicube and Biodance.
However, one of my favourite skincare brands that I always go back to is Ole Henriksen. I love their products, particularly their Strength Trainer Peptide Moisturiser, Banana Bright+ Eye Cream and the Dewtopia range which are staples in my skincare regime.
Over the past 10 years I have definitely explored a wide range of brands, however now I feel I have discovered some real winners in my skincare routine that I absolutely love.
Mornings can be busy. What are the non-negotiable beauty steps you never skip?
I always use a skin mist to wake my skin up. I love the Ole Henriksen Peach GlazeSpray and the Medicube PDRN Serum Mist, which is formulated with salmon PDRN that helps to give my skin a boost. I also like to use an ice roller on my skin first thing in the morning to help my face and muscles feel energised. If I am going to the gym or a pilates class I always pop some moisturiser on. I am currently loving the Tatcha Dewy Milk Moisturiser. I don’t like using anything too heavy on my skin in the morning – just something light to refresh and brighten my complexion before I head out the door.
Your makeup always feels minimal but polished. Which products help you look put together without feeling overdone?
One of my to-go products for my makeup routine is the ‘By Terry Tea to Tan’ tanning mist. It’s an instant tan that you can use on your face and body. It doesn’t smell, it gives you instant colour and doesn’t clog your pores. It’s actually 97% red tea extract, so it’s packed full of skin-loving ingredients and it gives you an instant bronze. It takes you from feeling pale and translucent; to like you’ve just been on holiday! No wonder it’s a cult beauty product, it’s incredible!
I also love to use a colour corrector in my makeup routine. I feel like it evens out my skin tone and complexion. I personally love the ‘Huda Beauty Faux Filter Colour Corrector’ in shade cherry blossom – it’s got a gorgeous creamy texture.
And it wouldn’t be right without me mentioning the ‘The Victoria Beckham Beauty Foundation Drops’, that everyone is raving about (me included!). If you love a glass skin finish and you want to feel put together without putting too much makeup, using these drops for your base will change your world!
Do you prefer investing in a few hero beauty products, or are you open to experimenting when something new launches?
I do like investing in my hero products – I always repurchase the products that I know work for me. But I am a skincare and makeup magpie, and can’t resist trying a new product launch! My friends will be the first to say how I’m always on the look out for new launches and love trying and experimenting with new products.
How has your beauty routine changed as your lifestyle and priorities have evolved?
So it’s all about finding products that work for me and my skin but I also try to find a balance between using my favourite products and not being afraid to try something new. Sometimes I’m guilty of getting too excited by new launches that I forget about the hero products that I love and give me the best results. My number one priority in beauty will always be hydrated, glowy, glass skin. If a product can do that for me, it’s going in my makeup bag!

Are there any beauty steps or products that play a role in how you unwind or reset?
Definitely my beauty devices, specifically the Shark CryoGlow Mask and the Shark DePuffi Contrast Therapy Sculpting Tool device. Those two are my go-tos when I need a mini facial from home and they make me feel super relaxed. It’s like a spa-like environment. I get amazing results, but they also make me feel like I’m really treating myself and my skin.
How has your beauty routine evolved alongside your confidence?
I feel like my beauty routine has really evolved alongside my confidence because I now take care of my skin so much more. I’ve always been into my skincare and investing in both this and beauty, but now I feel like I’m doing it more than ever, specifically my hair. For example, for the first time in 18 years I’m not wearing extensions, instead I’m investing in great hair growth products. I am trying to grow and look after my natural hair, something that I’ve never done before and I believe it’s because my confidence has grown that I’m able to do that.
9. If someone wanted to adopt your approach to beauty, which one step or product would you suggest they start with?
A really great product that I believe makes you feel good and gives you instant results is a sheet mask. Whether it’s an overnight collagen mask or a quick 20-minute application, it gives your skin immediate hydration. It’s going to wake your skin up and help achieve that glow. I think sheet masks are a really great place to start and there’s some super affordable ones out there so you don’t need to break the bank!
10. Do you have a signature fragrance, or do you like to switch scents depending on the season or occasion?
I absolutely love fragrance and I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a fragrance collector! But the one fragrance brand that I love more than anything is by my best friend Tayla (Tayla-Blue Watts). The brands called Memree and creates incredible signature scents. My favourite scent at the moment is Blondie. It’s an incredibly sweet caramelised/brown sugar-based scent that has hints of pepper which gives it a bit of bite and woodiness. It’s my current go-to, I just can’t stop wearing it!
What role does fragrance play in your daily routine, and are there any scents you associate with feeling most like yourself?
I absolutely love fragrance layering.
My favourite pairing is a delicious oud and woody scent, layered with something that’s quite fresh and light with a hint of sweetness. For example, I sometimes layer Louis Vuitton Ombre Nomade with Sun is Up by Memree, which is a fresh, summery scent.
I’m also loving hair mists at the moment, one of my favourites is by Fenty Hair. You can also use it as a body mist because it has a real amber, gourmand scent. It’s the same scent that they use in their leave-in conditioner, which is another of my hero hair products!
