Louis Vuitton Ignites the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with a Historic Tribute to Victory

In a spectacular crescendo to the 2025 Formula 1® season, Louis Vuitton transformed the starting grid of the FORMULA 1® ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX into a dazzling runway of speed, craftsmanship and sporting glory. For the first time ever, the Maison unveiled all 24 bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks, each meticulously created for every Grand Prix of the year, assembled on the circuit in an electrifying V-shaped formation — a striking emblem of Victory and Vuitton intertwined.

The result was nothing short of cinematic: the world’s most iconic racetrack reimagined as a gallery of high artistry, precision engineering and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

A Year of Racing, Captured in 24 Masterpieces

Arranged in precise chronological order — from the inaugural FORMULA 1 LOUIS VUITTON AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 through the summer’s defining races and into the European classics, including the FORMULA 1® MOËT & CHANDON BELGIAN GRAND PRIX 2025 — the installation culminated with the Abu Dhabi Trophy Trunk taking its place at the spearhead of the V. A triumphant finale to a season where craftsmanship and competition evolved hand in hand.

Each trunk, crafted by Louis Vuitton’s artisans in the historic Asnières workshop, embodies the House’s passion for protecting exceptional objects. Lined in signature Vuitton elegance and wrapped in the emblematic Monogram canvas, these trunks elevate the Formula 1® trophies into artefacts of modern sporting heritage.

This moment marked the pinnacle of Louis Vuitton’s debut year as Official Partner of Formula 1®, a partnership forged in January 2025 and now immortalised through this unprecedented showcase.

A Shared Language of Precision

The powerful staging also illuminated the extraordinary parallels between two worlds obsessed with perfection: the meticulous hands of Vuitton’s trunk-makers and the exacting innovations of Formula 1® engineers.

Both disciplines demand absolute precision, mastery of materials and an unyielding commitment to performance. It is this shared philosophy that crystallises Louis Vuitton’s now-defining message for the sport: victory travels with Louis Vuitton.

Max Verstappen Claims the Final Trophy of the Season

In a dramatic close to the 2025 calendar, Max Verstappen seized the trophy at the FORMULA 1® ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2025, presented, of course, within its bespoke Louis Vuitton case. Throughout the weekend, the trophy trunk became a symbol of the final showdown, appearing during the national anthem, standing proudly alongside the other 23 trunks on the grid, and accompanying Verstappen to the podium in an unforgettable moment of triumph.

Louis Vuitton also unveiled new signage at the Abu Dhabi circuit, a visual expression of speed and aerodynamic power that mirrors the intensity of Formula 1® itself.

A Crown for Lando Norris

As the engines quieted and the lights faded over Yas Marina Circuit, one final celebration remained:
Lando Norris was crowned the 2025 FIA Formula One World Drivers’ Champion, sealing the season with a moment worthy of the Maison’s spectacular tribute. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house, congratulations Lando!
