On the occasion of LVERS’ first anniversary, Louis Vuitton unveils a rarefied expression of scent, sunlight, and savoir-faire. Conceived through a luminous dialogue between Pharrell Williams, Men’s Creative Director, and Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, this limited-edition flacon arrives not simply as a vessel but as an artefact. Cast in pure copper, only thirty pieces will be released worldwide from 5 June 2025.
A study in light, alchemy and artisanal reverence, this anniversary edition transforms the fragrance’s solar DNA into a sculptural object—one that pulses with the energetic and regenerative powers of its material.
A Flacon Forged in Sunlight and Metal
Handcrafted near Florence known as the land of goldsmiths each copper bottle is shaped using the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. No two are alike. A unique wax mould gives way to molten copper, poured into its place, capturing Louis Vuitton’s iconic cylindrical silhouette with engraved Monogram motifs. Once cast, the matte copper is polished to a burnished glow, echoing the essence of sunlight in its final form.
More than ornament, the copper speaks to Vuitton’s heritage: historically used in the trunks of 19th-century explorers to prevent humidity, the metal reappeared in Pharrell’s Spring–Summer 2024 debut collection, where it adorned bags and hard-sided cases. Now, copper becomes perfume—transmutable, alive, and sensitive to time. It will evolve and wear the journey of its owner.
The Alchemy of LVERS
When LVERS debuted in June 2024, it arrived with quiet provocation: can sunlight be turned into scent? In pursuit of that abstraction, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud reached into nature’s regenerative code decoding the notes that bloom under sunlit skies.
The result is a photosynthetic composition: green galbanum, effervescent bergamot, fiery ginger, grounding cedarwood and contemplative sandalwood. The fragrance is not built around a story it is a frequency, a warmth. It evokes leaves touched by light, tree trunks warming under midday sun, and the evaporation of morning grass.
LVERS does not just smell like sunlight. It heals like it. A spray of solar elixir; a botanical expression of well-being.
A Creative Cosmos
This copper edition of LVERS embodies the code of Pharrell Williams’ vision at Louis Vuitton: craftsmanship as philosophy, material as message, and community as muse. From studio to scent to sculpture, each element of the LVERS universe reflects an iconography rooted in emotion and design.
Here, fragrance becomes object. Object becomes story. And the story limited, luminous, living is one only a select few will ever hold.
Available from 5 June 2025. Limited to 30 copper flacons worldwide.
