Spritz & Seafood: A Coastal Summer Escape at 45 Park Lane

London’s best steak restaurant is bringing a seaside spectacular to the heart of Mayfair this summer. 45 Park Lane’s acclaimed restaurant, CUT, is one our firm-favourite spots in the city and will soon set the tone for sophisticated summer dining with the return of the CUT Out Alfresco Terrace. Opening Wednesday 4 June, the terrace returns with a fresh twist — Spritz & Seafood — a sun-soaked culinary concept inspired by coastal flavours, fine seafood, and laid-back indulgence in Mayfair.

Set against the leafy expanse of Hyde Park, the terrace invites guests to unwind in style, with a new seafood-forward menu curated by Executive Chef extraordinaire Elliott Grover, and a lineup of refreshing spritzes designed to evoke summer by the sea.

“This new seafood menu brings a lighter, brighter energy to CUT, and there’s no better place to enjoy it than on the terrace overlooking the park,” Grover says. “We wanted to create something that feels both indulgent and effortlessly relaxed — a true taste of summer.”

The menu is a refined yet playful homage to coastal classics, blending elegance with bold flavours. Highlights include:

  • Wolfgang Puck’s Signature Sushi Rolls – Spicy Tuna Lemon and Soft Shell Crab.
  • Dover Sole Gougonnette “Fish ’n Chips” – served with Sakura tartar sauce.
  • Iconic Crab Cakes and Smoked Salmon & Sturgeon – accompanied by dill sour cream, lemon-herb blinis, and salmon caviar.
  • Oysters on the Half Shell – dressed with Japanese ponzu and marinated tapioca pearls.
  • Smoked Black Cod Tacos – paired with cilantro aioli, spicy mango salsa, and julienne cabbage.

For those craving something heartier, standout sandwiches include the CUT Classic Lobster Roll served on a house-baked Parker House roll with Old Bay aioli, and a decadent USDA Prime Ribeye Philly Cheesesteak layered with caramelised onions in a homemade hoagie.

The drinks menu is equally transportive, with crisp wines, Champagne, seasonal cocktails, and a curated selection of spritzes—each the perfect partner to the terrace’s breezy seafood offering.
