Never Say Die, the trailblazing independent whiskey brand known for its innovative barrel ageing techniques, is launching its Rye Whiskey. Never Say Die Rye Whiskey follows the same unique trans-Atlantic ageing process as the brand’s award-winning bourbons. Distilled in Kentucky, the rye rests in its original casks for at least five years before embarking on a six-week voyage across the Atlantic to the UK for further ageing and maturation at White Peak Distillery.

Experience the elegance of Edouard Delaunay Septembre Pinot Noir 2020, crafted by fifth-generation winemaker Laurent Delaunay. This fresh, contemporary Pinot Noir offers great value, with grapes handpicked from the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, lending structure and complexity. Fielden Whiskey of England emerges as a bold new brand, using heritage grains grown regeneratively without chemicals. The name “Fielden,” meaning “of the field,” reflects their commitment to sustainable farming. This revolutionary method, using clover as natural fertiliser, allows the land to thrive. Fielden’s mission is to transform farming practices, field by field. Their rye, wheat, and barley are grown exclusively for the distillery, spanning from Cornwall to Norfolk. The result is a whiskey rich in flavour, embodying the essence of England’s fertile fields.


Equiano Rum Co’s Ominira

Ominira is the first vintage expression in Equiano’s Legacy Blend series. This premium blend honours Olaudah Equiano, the freedom fighter who sold rum to buy his freedom. Ominira, meaning “freedom” in Yoruba, reflects his legacy. Distilled in Barbados and Mauritius, this blend is aged for a minimum of 11 years, with an ABV of 52%, the age Equiano lived to. Limited to 3000 bottles, it offers aromas of ripe banana, molasses, vanilla, and cedarwood. The palate reveals dark chocolate, caramel, and tropical fruits, celebrating Equiano’s enduring spirit and history.


Papa Salt Coastal Gin

Australia’s award-winning Papa Salt Coastal Gin has arrived in the UK, created by Margot Robbie. Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, Regan Riskas, and Charlie Maas. Inspired by idyllic Australian beach days, it’s perfect for classic dry martinis, soda mixes, and gin and tonics. Signature cocktails include The Salty Dog (grapefruit juice and lime) and the Papa Paloma (grapefruit soda and rosemary salt). Produced by Lord Byron Distillery in Byron Bay, the zero-waste, renewable energy gin features Australian botanicals like wattle seed, wax flower, and oyster shell. Papa Salt’s first Australian batch sold out in 48 hours. Co-founders Ackerley and Robbie cherish sharing their gin passion, eagerly anticipating seeing it in UK bars.


 Guillam Coffee House 

 Guillam was launched in South Kensington on the eve of the pandemic by Abdelraham Fathalla (John Le Carré superfan Abdelraham named his fledgling enterprise after the character, Peter Guillam, from the author’s book, Call for the Dead). Despite the timing, the offering would go on to receive a rapturous welcome. Three more equally successful central London sites quickly followed, with a fifth set to open later this year. 

Guillam is no ordinary coffee shop. Dedicated to bringing the best of the best to each of its neighbourhoods, with no less than nine different selections of single-origin coffee available at any given time, it has become a sanctuary for coffee connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike, who flock here to enjoy the deep rich flavours and unique profiles of the coffee. 

This specialism allows Guillam to offer a product that can be closely monitored and controlled. With the help of its hugely knowledgeable and experienced baristas, consumers can trace their coffee’s origin – whether it be a single farm, a specific region or even a particular harvest – giving them a deeper understanding and appreciation of what it is they are drinking. 

Like a single vineyard wine or a single malt whisky, single-origin coffees possess distinct flavour profiles. Changing according to the seasons, these can vary from fruity and floral to nutty and chocolaty, resulting in a unique tasting experience that blends can’t always replicate.
