For him there is no glass ceiling. Like Midas, whatever he touches turns to gold, so it comes as no surprise that Le Chalet du Plaza Athénée is a roaring success with locals and travellers alike.

Jean Imbert’s menu, a symphony of Savoyard specialties, invites guests to embark on a gastronomic journey featuring fondue in three delightful variations, including the decadent Champagne Fondue. Starting at €200, this culinary escapade is open for reservations of two or more, promising an Alpine dining experience that dances on the taste buds.

The hotel’s courtyard undergoes a magical metamorphosis, with a whimsical ice-skating rink. Here, skaters of all ages, adorned in scarves and mittens, twirl and pirouette on the glistening ice. Children between three and 12 years old can partake in private skating sessions guided by a professional instructor, adding a sprinkle of youthful joy to the winter wonderland festivities.

Among the stars of the whimsical winter menu is The Mount Plaza, a suspended yule log inspired by the Ardèche chestnut.
