The British Virgin Islands is the birthplace of the famous Painkiller cocktail which dates back to the 1970s. Daphne Henderson of the famous Soggy Dollar bar created this island concoction which to this day is still famous throughout the British Virgin Islands, so we share the recipe with you today.
Ingredients
50ml Mount Gay
50ml Pineapple Juice
50ml Orange Juice
35ml Coco Lopez
10ml Pussers rum
Method
Fill cocktail shaker with ice, add all ingredients. Shake and strain over fresh ice in a tall glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg and an orange slice.
