For five days, one of New York’s most talked-about espresso bars was transported to the Italian Riviera as Victoria Beckham Beauty took over Caffe Paradiso in celebration of Portofino ’97.
Named Portofino Paradiso, the summer pop-up brought the story behind the fragrance to 202 Elizabeth Street: Victoria Beckham’s unforgettable escape to Portofino in 1997. The result was a little slice of Italian summer in downtown Manhattan, blending fragrance, coffee and nostalgia.

At the centre of the experience was an Iced Vanilla Bergamot Latte, created exclusively for the occasion by the team behind Caffe Paradiso’s now-famous salted brown butter latte. Sweet, citrusy and made for warm New York days, the bespoke drink offered a playful taste of the Portofino ’97 world.

Visitors could also discover the fragrance through an intimate scent-sampling experience woven into the café itself. Outside, the Portofino Patio featured custom seating, board games, dice and unexpected details designed to make even the queue feel like part of the escape.
Portofino-inspired treats and exclusive merchandise completed the experience, bringing a touch of Riviera glamour to Elizabeth Street.
Portofino Paradiso was open at Caffe Paradiso from 16 to 20 July 2026.
