Cinnamon Kitchen City

At Cinnamon Kitchen, Executive Chef Vivek Singh introduces a modern twist to Indian cuisine, nestled in the heart of the City. This culinary haven, tucked away within the Devonshire Square Development near Liverpool Street station, offers an escape from the urban hustle with fabulous food and expertly crafted cocktails.

Under the guidance of Executive Chef and CEO Vivek Singh, the restaurant breathes life into the historic East India Company spice warehouses, infusing them with a vibrant dining scene. Inspired by the ethos of Vivek’s acclaimed Cinnamon Club, Cinnamon Kitchen provides a more laid-back and informal setting while maintaining its commitment to innovative Indian cuisine.

Recognised as trailblazers in the UK’s modern Indian culinary landscape, Vivek Singh and Head Chef Ramachandran Raju continuously challenge culinary norms at Cinnamon Kitchen. The menu goes beyond traditional authenticity, drawing on the rich diversity of the sub-continent to present a smorgasbord of appetisers, mains, and sides meant for sharing – advisable but certainly not mandatory.

The menu is packed with options to impress even the pickiest eater. Starters include Soft Shell Crab, Grilled Pork Ribs with soya and chilli glaze and Chargrilled Lamb Fillet with Rajasthani soola spices. Mains are equally tempting; think Grilled Pink Aubergine with tamarind chutney and sesame peanut crumble, plump King Prawns and Lucknow Style Chicken Biryani. Sides offer dishes such as house black lentils, fresh Kachumber salad and curried chickpeas with fresh fenugreek.

For sauce-mopping, opt for classic breads such as garlic and coriander or peshwari naan, or – for a naughtier option – Chicken tikka and cheese filled naan. Room for dessert? The Chocolate Delice, Royal Punjabi Malai Kulfi or Rasmalai Tres Leches Cake with pistachio nougat will all knock your socks off.

The wine list at Cinnamon Kitchen is expertly curated to complement the flavours of the food, while the cocktail menu, crafted in collaboration with mixologist Toni Conigliaro, offers creative concoctions like the Assam Manhattan, a blend of Assam black tea, Buffalo Trace vermouth and a touch of black cardamom.

Cinnamon Kitchen City serves not only as a restaurant, but also as a hub for thrilling events. Don’t miss Executive Chef Vivek Singh’s iconic #HouseofHoli pop-up, returning for a week and a half of colourful festivities from March 15th to 25th. Additionally, Vivek reunites with the finalists of MasterChef: The Professionals for the exclusive Fantastic Five Supper Club, showcasing their culinary prowess on March 1st and 2nd. Tickets are available at cinnamon-kitchen.com.

Whether it’s paint-pelting, samosa-savouring or rubbing shoulders with the culinary world’s finest, Cinnamon Kitchen City has everything to spice up your life.
